“Blind Pig”

Prohibition-era term for a secret establishment for social gatherings

offering alcohol, illegally, to patrons; also called a “speakeasy”.

The year was 2020.  New York had gone quiet with all that was going on in the world.

We were stuck at home daydreaming about the adventures we used to have, with friends & family who seemed so far away now. We needed a place to hideout from the rest of the world and create happy memories to revitalize ourselves during the hard times.

And that’s how our first rental-home renovation project began!

Decades of architecture & design experience meant that the renovation process was familiar & fun for us, but the big surprise in our journey was discovering an incredible community of rental-home owners, travelers, and families just like us who were all seeking the same thing ~ An escape pad to cure the cabin fever of modern life!

Now we’re on an inspired journey to foster a network of spaces

that connect guests to the undiscovered beauty of the northeast

~ one beautiful home base at a time.

Places that make “escape” easy.

So our guests think & plan less, and explore & enjoy more.

Bringing friends, travelers, and dreamers together.

So we can all enjoy the things that really matter.

Let’s have a roaring good time.

Make us a stop on your journey.

  • We rented the Blind Pig for our summer girls trip. The pictures don't do this house justice. It's decor is simply amazing. The basement was like an apartment of It's own. The beds were comfortable, the linen was so great we had to look at tag to see the brand ( we love good sheets) the huge outdoor table is where we had breakfast. The Hideout has so many things to do. We played tennis, walked the trails and laid out at the lake. Nicole was a gift and responds immediately. We would stay here again in a heart beat! So don't hesitate, book this place you will NOT regret it.

  • Beautifully decorated cabin! Was very luxurious and comfortable. My family was in town for a wedding, we drove in from multiple locations and it was a great alternative to a hotel, it was comfortable, peaceful, and had lots of room for us to catch up, spend time, and make great memories!

  • This place was awesome for a getaway in the Poconos. The house is beautiful and has plenty of rooms for a lot of guests. We loved the fire pit and the lights around the house at night. Everything was great and the host communicated with us the whole time.
